 Do your products contain harsh ingredients?

Every product is hand crafted from mother nature's most powerful ingredients. Each product is PETA certified cruelty free and vegan. Every ingredient has been selected to preserve your beauty and health and all products are free from sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, silicones, phthalates, DEA, gluten and harsh ingredients that damage your body.

 

Do you have samples?

Regrettably, I do not offer samples at this time. However, many of our products are offered in mini 2 oz sizes so that you may try them before committing to the full size items. I forgot to use my discount code?

Regrettably, we can not adjust and apply a discount to an order that has already been submitted. All codes must be used at the time the order is placed. Please make sure you review your order before submitting it. This includes cancelling and resubmitting orders. 

 

What is your return / cancellation policy?

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Products are available to the United States, US territories, APO boxes and to select international locations. 

 

I put the wrong ship to address, what do I do?

If you provide an incorrect shipping address for your order, and your package gets returned to FEMME NOIRE for that reason you will be responsible for the shipping fees incurred in order to have your order resent to you. If you request a refund as a result of an incorrect ship to address; only a limited, partial refund shall apply, which excludes actual shipping costs incurred by FEMME NOIRE, plus a 5% (of gross order value) restocking/e-comm recovery fee (with a $5.00 minimum).

 

When will I receive my order?

Individual orders are shipped within 5 - 7 business days and the delivery time depends on shipping method you selected at checkout. Shipments to APO boxes and to international destinations will take an extra 2-4 weeks for delivery. Shipping confirmation and tracking information are sent to the email address you provide at purchase.

 

There is an issue with my shipment, what do I do?

Please send an email to support@shopfemmenoire.com and we'd be happy to help. Please note we do not issue refunds for orders that were shipped and marked as delivered. If you purchased shipping insurance at checkout we will help you to file an insurance claim. To avoid any delivery issues please include shipping insurance with your order and make sure your order is shipped to a safe location where you can successfully retrieve your delivery. 

 

How do subscriptions / auto-ship work?

Auto-ship allows you to order products and have them automatically delivered to you every 1 month, 2 months, or 3 months. If you find you need one product monthly and another every 2 months that's perfectly okay, just adjust the delivery frequency on the product page. You have complete control to customize your product selection, manage and update your delivery frequency, skip a delivery, or cancel with no additional charges or obligation (subscriptions can ONLY be cancelled or modified after 2 successful deliveries or after 2 payments) . 

 

How do I update my subscription?

To update your subscription log into your account here and update your preferences. You can pause your order, change your order frequency or update your delivery date. If you pause your subscription don't forget to log into your account and resume deliveries when you are ready to begin receiving packages again. 

 

How do I update my contact / billing information?

My jar of Sweet Cream Daily Moisturizer / Kiss My Ash Body Balm melted, what do I do?

I'm so sorry that your jar melted. The butters melt when they come in contact with your skin which means they will also melt when exposed to heat. Not to worry, no damage has occurred and it will still moisturize your curls. To restore the moisturizer to its original state screw the lid on tightly and place the jar in a bowl of hot water it fully melts. Remove the jar from the water and allow it to cool to room temp. Once it's reached room temperature, gently stir with a utensil until the Sweet Cream Moisturizer / Kiss My Ash Balm reaches a smooth texture. Reseal the container and place it in the refrigerator until the cream begins to solidify. Remove from refrigerator and allow the cream to return to room temperature (or leave it in the refrigerator during the hottest months for a cool treat). 

  

Can I use a shampoo before applying the Dirty Curl Cleansing Clay?

There is no need to use shampoo before or after using the Dirty Curl Cleansing Clay. The Dirty Curl Cleansing & Conditioning Clay is a clay mask that replaces your regular shampoo and conditioner. It is a detox cleanser that removes dirt, toxins, flakes, and product buildup without stripping your hair of the much needed moisture. It makes washing your hair is now simple, fast, and effortless.
