How Oils Are Making Your Hair Dry
Imagine walking around with greasy dry hair. Sounds crazy to have greasy dry hair but it is possible and we promise you it’s not sexy. When you don’t use oils properly, they can make your hair dry. Here’s a little secret how to keep your hair moisturized so you can have sexy curls.
Before we tell you what to do, let’s focus on what to avoid. DO NOT APPLY OIL DIRECTLY TO DRY HAIR. Oils are not moisturizers they are sealers. Sealers are used to lock in the moisture and prevent it from escaping. Oil should be used to lock in already moisturized hair. Applying oil on top of dry hair is only going to seal in dryness.
To bring your sexy curls back try this instead. First, use water or a water based product to moisturize your hair.
